WEFTEC: What's the big deal?

This year’s WEFTEC conference will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in Louisiana from September 27 – October 1. Almost 1,000 businesses were represented at last year’s exhibition, and similar numbers are expected for the fall. It is considered the largest water quality exhibit in the world with around 22,000 attendees. The great party is thrown by none other than the Water Environment Federation who deem themselves “the water quality people.” Consultants, environmental engineers, water/waste utility managers, suppliers, and students roam the great expanse of the show floor to see classic and innovative technology in the water quality world. Experts in the field are there to discuss topics such as energy conservation, water recycling, plant operations, and much more. United Blower fully supports the goals and principles of WEFTEC and will display leading equipment designs in our booth this year. The Water Environment Federation has been hosting annual meetings since its formation in 1928 – 86 years of experience has created an outstanding, informative conference to attend annually for all individuals who consider themselves “the water quality people."
